Michal Šenkýř

Michal Šenkýř has over a decade of experience in software engineering and development. Michal began their career as an External Java Programmer at ADOL, s.r.o while working on their Master's Thesis. Michal then joined ABOR, s.r.o as a Software Consultant and Developer, eventually becoming the Head of Development for a subsidiary project.

In 2015, Michal transitioned to AC Software, s.r.o where they worked as a Software Consultant and Developer. Shortly after, they joined Seznam.cz as a Programmer, focusing on the advertising platform Sklik. Michal later became a Software Engineer/Analyst and specialized in big data processing using frameworks like Spark and Flink.

In 2017, Michal joined Rocket Fuel Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, primarily working on maintaining and expanding batch processing pipelines. Michal also introduced a new reporting solution and shared their expertise through internal tech talks. Michal continued their work at Sizmek after the acquisition, taking on roles as a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead for real-time projects.

In 2019, they decided to join Lucid, LLC as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on designing and optimizing real-time data retrieval systems. Currently, Michal is employed at Woven Planet as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the development and improvement of software systems.

Michal Šenkýř attended Gymnázium Havířov from 1995 to 2002. Michal then enrolled at Gymnázium Mikuláše Koperníka v Bílovci for a brief period in 2003. In 2004, they started their studies at Charles University, where they completed a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering in 2010.
