Digital Media Director, Performance Marketing at WOW MKTG

Karen Acevedo has a diverse background in marketing and media roles. Karen is currently working as a Digital Media Director, Performance Marketing at WOW MKTG since March 2023. Prior to their current role, they worked at Republica Havas as a Media Director from January 2022 to March 2023, and as an Associate Media Director from May 2018 to December 2021. Before Republica Havas, they held the position of Client Partner Manager at Worldmedia Interactive from August 2017 to May 2018. Karen also gained experience as a Senior Digital Analyst at Zubi Advertising Services from July 2016 to August 2017. Karen started their career at Initiative, where they worked as a Senior Digital Media Planner from May 2014 to April 2016. Prior to that, they had roles as a Digital Media Planner and an Assistant Digital Media Planner at UM Worldwide from July 2013 to May 2014 and from June 2012 to June 2013, respectively. Karen also interned as a Junior Copywriter at Conill Advertising from August 2011 to March 2012 and as a Digital Media Intern at UM Worldwide from June 2011 to August 2011. Karen began their career as a Copywriting Intern at &Barr from January 2011 to June 2011. Karen also has marketing intern experience at Orlando Repertory Theatre from August 2010 to December 2010.

Karen Acevedo has a solid education history with a focus on advertising and psychology. Karen obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of Central Florida from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, Karen earned an Associate's Degree from Florida International University from 2007 to 2009. Karen completed their high school education at Coral Reef Senior High School from 2003 to 2007, earning an IB/High School Diploma with a field of study in French.

In addition to their formal education, Karen has also obtained certifications in the field of marketing. Karen completed the Display & Video 360 Certification Exam and the Optimize your Display & Video 360 campaign certification from Google in April 2020.
