Emily Thompson

Emily Thompson has extensive experience in the news industry, currently serving as News Director at WPBF 25 News since January 2022. Prior to this role, Emily held the position of Assistant News Director at the same station from October 2019 to February 2022. Emily's career in journalism began at WPBF-TV Eyewitness News 25 (ABC), where Emily worked as Executive Producer from January 2001 to October 2019. Earlier experience includes a role as News Producer at WXIN-TV Fox 59 from June 1996 to January 1998. Emily Thompson earned a degree from Ball State University, completing studies from 1991 to 1996.
