Pratishtha Arora has been working in the social and organizational sector since 2012. Pratishtha began their career as an intern at Shakti Shalini in 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Trainee at Road Safety and Emergency Services, where they created and designed resources for workshops and trainings for various projects. From 2014 to 2017, Pratishtha worked at the Centre for Social Research as a Project Coordinator and Gender Trainer. During this time, they also worked as a Program Coordinator at Chintan (Environmental Research and Action Group). In 2018, they co-founded Social Media Matters, a team of young, feminist, social media ninjas working for social change. Currently, Pratishtha is a Program Lead at Wranga.
Pratishtha Arora has an extensive education history. Pratishtha first attended Ahlcon Public School from 1994 to 2008, where they completed their +2 in commerce. Pratishtha then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Programme from Maharaja Agrasen College, Delhi University from 2008 to 2011. Following this, they completed their Master of Arts (MA) in Gender Studies from Ambedkar University, Delhi from 2011 to 2013. Currently, they are pursuing a Post Graduate Certificate in Cyber Laws from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
