Bob Donlon has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1987 as the founder, bassist, and songwriter of the rock band "The Rake's Progress" and continuing to the present day. In 1988, they held a marketing internship at Columbia Records' Dance Music Promotion department, followed by a Multimedia Presentation Designer role at Goldman Sachs in 1996. From 1998 to 2000, they were the Sales Engineering Manager at Anystream, a digital video encoding solutions company. In 2005, Bob became the Worldwide Evangelist for Digital Video & Audio at Adobe and in 2008 they founded and served as General Manager of Adobe TV. Since 2011, Bob has been SVP/GM at Wrecking Ball Studio + Labs, an independent digital marketing agency, where they are responsible for driving revenue by acquiring, onboarding, and managing clients.

Bob Donlon's education history includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Music from Purchase College, SUNY, which they obtained between 1985 and 1990. Bob also took courses in Negotiation Strategy and Project Management at the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2009 to 2011. In 1999, they attended Pratt Institute in order to study Fine Arts. The year before, they had taken a course in Interactive Multimedia Design/Development at the Parsons School of Design - The New School. Bob Donlon's education history began in 1982, when they obtained a High School Diploma in Music from the School of Performing Arts.
