Daniel Smith has extensive work experience in the finance and banking industry. Daniel most recently worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Wright-Patt Credit Union, where they led finance, accounting, asset liability management, and analytics for a $7.8 billion credit union. Prior to that, they held various roles at Fifth Third Bank, including VP, Sr Capital Planning Manager, VP, Sr Finance Manager, and VP, Auto Pricing Manager, Consumer Lending. Daniel also has experience working at KeyBank, where they served as SVP & Business Unit CFO, Key Consumer Finance, SVP, Finance & Business Performance, Key Education Resources, VP & Business Unit CFO, Indirect Consumer Finance, AVP & Sr. Financial Analyst, Key Consumer Finance Business Analysis, and AVP & Line of Business Analyst, Northeast Financial Planning & Analysis.

Daniel Smith completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics at The College of Saint Rose from 1988 to 1992. Daniel then pursued further education and completed an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree in Finance at Cleveland State University from 2002 to 2004.
