Muhammad Aladdin

Muhammad Aladdin is an Egyptian novelist, short story writer, and freelance scriptwriter with experience spanning over two decades. Starting a career in translation, editing, and proofreading in 2001, Muhammad Aladdin contributed to notable works such as The Spy Encyclopaedia and positioned himself in the literary scene with the publication of a short story collection in 2003. As a columnist, Muhammad Aladdin provided insights on Egyptian life and personal reflections through various platforms, including AlManassa and The New Arab, while continuing to work as a freelance scriptwriter since 2005. A graduate of Helwan University Cairo with a degree in Journalism, Muhammad Aladdin is recognized as an influential figure among the new generation of Egyptian writers.
