Dr. Ajit Karunakaran

Dr. Ajit Karunakaran is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in global business development, strategic growth initiatives, and operations management. Currently serving as Head of International Business at Writer Information since May 2011, Dr. Karunakaran has been instrumental in establishing the company as a global leader in RIM and Business Transformation services, achieving over 20% CAGR growth for more than a decade. Prior roles include Vice President at BISIL, where Dr. Karunakaran significantly expanded the BPM business in India and Southeast Asia, and Business Development Director at Gemstone Systems, driving market share growth in the APAC region. Educationally, Dr. Karunakaran is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy at MIT ADT University and holds multiple degrees including an MBA from Cambridge Management Institute and a BSc in Physics from the University of Mumbai. Additional qualifications include a certification as an Independent Director and experience in business excellence assessment.
