Corrina Freedman

Corrina Freedman is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Senior Counsel at the Writers Guild of America West since February 2023, where advocacy for writers during times of corporate profit is a primary focus. Prior to this role, Corrina honed legal skills as an Associate at Latham & Watkins from November 2010 to April 2014, participating in all stages of litigation. Experience as Director of Advocacy at the American Lung Association of New York from April 2005 to June 2007 involved successful lobbying efforts, including the introduction of a bill to ban flavored cigarettes in New York City. Corrina also served as Chief of Staff for New York State Assemblywoman Joan Millman from January 2003 to March 2005, managing staff and navigating complex stakeholder communications. Additionally, roles at the Writers Guild of America West from May 2014 to March 2022 included Political and Legislative Director and Associate Counsel, focusing on legislative strategy, lobbying efforts, and engagement of union members with the Political Action Committee.
