Rachel Gunn

Rachel Gunn is an experienced professional with a diverse background in administration, education, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as an Administrative Assistant at Writers House since May 2022, Rachel also has a long-standing role as a Hair Braider at Adorn Thy Hair since April 2014. Prior experience includes positions as an Accelerated Learning Specialist and Instructional Assistant within the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District from February 2020 to June 2023, as well as a Summer Intern at Writers House in 2021. An extensive career in education includes roles as a Paraeducator III Bilingual, Library Technician Substitute, and Paraeducator II Reading at the Davis Joint Unified School District from August 2014 to June 2019. Rachel was also the owner of R. H. Braiding and R. H. Jewelry from 2014 to 2019 and 2007 to 2008, respectively. Rachel holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish from Brigham Young University, obtained between 1996 and 2000.
