Lauren Oesterling

Lauren Oesterling is an experienced news producer with a diverse background in television production. Currently serving as a News Producer at WSMV since November 2021, Lauren previously worked at Nexstar Media Group, Inc. as a Television News Producer at ABC4, where management of the weekend team and production of top-rated newscasts were key responsibilities. Additional experience includes producing morning weekday shows at KUTV 2News / KMYU, newscast producing at WKOW-ABC 27, and contributions to various productions as both a producer and tech specialist at organizations such as NBC26 and the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts. Lauren's early career showcased work in theater production with Florida Stage and Opera New Jersey, complemented by roles in production design at Harley-Davidson Motor Company. Academically, Lauren holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Journalism & Marketing from Harvard University.
