Lauren Walsh

Lauren Walsh is an accomplished sports anchor and reporter with extensive experience in sports journalism. Currently positioned at WSMV since August 2023, Walsh has previously served as a sports anchor/reporter at WXII-TV from January 2020 to July 2023 and at WVNY/WFFF from December 2017 to January 2020, focusing on local athletes and sports teams in the North Country across New York, Vermont, and New Hampshire. Additional roles include sports reporter at NewsChannel 9 WSYR and various positions at CitrusTV, where Walsh held titles such as anchor, host, executive producer, and beat reporter. Walsh's early experience also includes an internship at NESN with a focus on the Red Sox and a summer camp counselor position at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Arlington. Lauren Walsh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from Syracuse University.
