Melanie Layden

Melanie Layden is an experienced meteorologist and traffic anchor currently serving as the Weekend Morning Meteorologist at WSMV since December 2014. Prior to this role, Melanie worked as a Traffic Reporter and Producer at WAAY-TV from October 2012 to December 2014. Melanie holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Mississippi and a degree in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University.
