Lee Knight

Lee Knight is a seasoned professional in systems engineering with extensive experience across various prestigious organizations. Currently serving as a Principal Consultant at WSP since April 2021, Lee focuses on Performance and Reliability Growth monitoring for the Elizabeth Line. Prior roles include Senior Principal System Engineer at BAE Systems, where responsibilities included the design and delivery of SI hardware for the Type 26 Frigate. Lee also held the position of Senior Consultant at Ricardo Rail, managing Safety Case activities for the Class 802 Nova 1 train, and worked as a Senior Design Engineer at Network Rail, overseeing RAM activities for the Thameslink Programme. Lee's earlier career includes significant contributions at BAE Systems in Shared Computing and Combat Management Systems, as well as serving as an Avionics Engineer in the Royal Air Force for 14 years.
