Tanya DeRivi joined the WSPA team in April 2022. In her role as Vice President, Climate Policy, she oversees regional and Association-wide climate regulatory policy initiatives, supports legislative activities on climate policy, and offers strategic planning, goal setting, and direction in terms of policy and technical direction on climate policy for the Association.
Prior to joining WSPA, Tanya spent 20 years working on electricity and energy policies at the local, state, and federal levels. This includes 10 years on federal energy and climate change policies in Washington, D.C., seven years in Sacramento representing Southern California utilities on state and federal regulatory and legislative policies, and five years working for the City of Los Angeles on environmental issues.
Tanya earned a bachelor’s degree in public policy and a master’s of public administration from the University of Southern California.
