Rocky Lucas

Rocky Lucas currently serves as the Director of Counseling and Wellness at Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine since May 2022. Rocky has extensive experience in the mental health field, including roles as a Clinical Supervisor at Cabin Creek Health Systems since February 2016, overseeing graduate-level social workers and ensuring compliance with therapy documentation standards. Rocky has also been a Behavioral Health Provider, delivering individual and family therapy, and facilitating group therapy sessions. Previously, Rocky held positions at Washington State University as a Counselor/Clinical Assistant Professor and at Marshall University as Adjunct Faculty. Additional experience includes roles in acute care therapy, social services, and foster care case management. Rocky earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Eastern Kentucky University.
