Simone McKenny

Simone McKenny is a Digital Anchor and Multimedia Journalist at WTOC-TV since June 2023, responsible for transitioning news stories from broadcast to social media, producing long-form digital content, and anchoring live news segments. Prior to this role, Simone served as a Multimedia Journalist at WHSV - TV from August 2020 to June 2023, where responsibilities included pitching and editing news stories and producing morning segments. Simone gained experience as an intern at CBS News, NBC Washington, CBS Corporation, SiriusXM, and the Public Broadcasting Service, contributing to various aspects of news production and digital content management. Simone holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from The George Washington University and studied Journalism at City, University of London.
