Thomas Wallace TEP ATT has extensive work experience in the tax industry. Thomas began their career in 1997 at HM Revenue & Customs, where they held various roles such as Revenue Assistant, Revenue Officer, and Revenue Executive.
In 2004, Thomas became an Inspector of Taxes for Large Businesses and later transitioned to working with Small and Medium Enterprises. Thomas then served as a Business Record Check Coach and an Investigations Manager for Wealthy & Mid-size Businesses. Prior to leaving HM Revenue & Customs, they were a Complex Evasion Senior Case Lead.
In 2017, Thomas joined WTT as the Head of Tax, where they were responsible for providing tax advisory services to freelancing, media, and sports industries. Thomas later became the Director of Tax Investigations, specializing in managing historic tax enquiries.
In 2020, Thomas joined IR35 Navigator as the Director of Tax Compliance. Their role involved ensuring compliance with tax regulations and providing guidance on IR35 legislation.

Thomas Wallace TEP ATT has a diverse education history in the field of tax and law. Thomas began their education in 1992 at William Ellis Secondary School, where they obtained a general education without pursuing a degree or special field of study. Thomas then attended Longsands Community College from 1995 to 1997, but no degree or field of study is specified for this period.
In 2018, Thomas enrolled in Central Law Training and completed a Diploma in Tax and Estate Planning, focusing on tax and law, in 2021. Shortly after, in the same year, they obtained several certifications related to taxation and estate planning. Thomas continued to expand their knowledge and expertise by obtaining additional certifications. These include a range of specialized courses, such as Principles of Accounting, Application and Professional Skills in Taxation of Individuals, Professional Responsibilities and Ethics, Corporate Taxation, Personal Taxation, and Law, all from various institutions such as the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) and The Association of Taxation Technicians.
Lastly, in 2022, Thomas obtained Inspector Training from HM Revenue & Customs, indicating their dedication to staying updated with the latest practices in tax and law enforcement.
