Mary Scott

Mary Scott is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and language instruction. From January 2020 to May 2023, Mary served as an Adjunct Instructor at Delgado Community College. Prior to this role, Mary worked as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant from February to November 2019 at Comissão Fulbright Brasil, where collaboration with a team of professors involved co-teaching and guest lecturing in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, as well as editing academic papers. Additional experience includes positions as a Substitute Teacher at Isidore Newman School and Lycée Français de la Nouvelle-Orléans, where Mary managed classrooms and supported curriculum implementation. Mary has also held roles as a Spanish Teacher during summer camps and an Enrichment Teacher for early childhood education. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature from the University of Minnesota and ongoing studies at Universidade Federal do Pampa.
