Kenneth Jacobs has a long and varied work experience. Kenneth began their career in 1992 as a Resident Physician at Roanoke Memorial Hospitals. In 1996, they moved to Lenoir Women's Care as a Physician. In 2001, they became a Physician/Medical Director OB/GYN at Goshen Medical Center where they authored a successful grant to receive $1.3M for the establishment of an OB/GYN program within a rural Community Health Center. In 2005, they became the Owner/Physician of MILR (Medical Illustration and Literature Research). In 2006, they worked as a Safety Scientist for Talecris Biotherapeutics (Belcan Services) and as a Drug Safety Scientist and Medical Director Global Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance for Talecris Biotherapeutics, Inc. In 2011, they became the Senior Director Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance at Grifols. In 2013, they became the Senior Director Global Drug Safety at Dendreon where they directed the overall development and management of Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance Department and oversaw individual case reports. In 2015, they moved to MacroGenics, Inc. as the Vice President Product Safety, Executive Director Product Safety and Senior Director Product Safety. Most recently, in 2021, they became the VP Pharmacovigilance and Clinical Development at Wugen.

Kenneth Jacobs received their MD and Doctorate degrees in Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine between 1988 and 1992. Kenneth also earned a B.S in Chemistry/Biology from UNC at during this time.
