Anisa Khalifa

Anisa Khalifa is a skilled podcast producer and host currently working at North Carolina Public Radio-WUNC since November 2021. In addition to this role, Anisa co-owns the podcast "Muslim in Plain Sight" and Dramas Over Flowers Productions, both established in August 2021 and August 2017, respectively. Previously, Anisa was a staff writer at Dramabeans Inc from August 2016 to December 2021 and served as a communications assistant for the Asian American Studies Program at Duke University from October 2018 to May 2020. Anisa also held the position of Director of Advocacy at the Duke University Graduate and Professional Student Council from April 2019 to April 2020. Anisa Khalifa holds a Master of Arts in Critical Asian Humanities from Duke University Graduate School and an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Diaspora and Transnational Studies and English Language and Literature from the University of Toronto.
