Stavros Sahtouris

Stavros Sahtouris has extensive work experience in software development and engineering. Stavros began their career as a software developer at Virtual Trip Ltd in 2002. From 2003 to 2006, they worked as a software engineer at the Foundation of Research and Technology Hellas (FORTH) where they focused on RDF/s applications and expanding the ICS-FORTH RDF Suite. From 2007 to 2009, they worked in the Research and Development department at Eufyeis Ekpaideuseis SmartEdu.Gr. Since 2012, they have been a software engineer at GRNET, specializing in python/django and k8s-based projects. Stavros has also worked on various European scientific projects and provided expertise for GRNET projects such as e-science and OpenMinTeD. Currently, they are employed as a software developer at Wundermart since 2022.

Stavros Sahtouris received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Panepistimio Kritis in 2003. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Information Systems and Theory of Algorithms from the same university from 2004 to 2006. In 2009, Stavros attended the University of the Aegean, where they obtained their second Master's degree in CTI in Education in 2010. Additionally, in May 2013, Stavros obtained a certification in Internet History, Technology, and Security from Coursera.
