Charvy Ourm

Charvy Ourm has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They started their career as a Videographer, Editor, and Production assistant at eLock Technologies LLC from 2005 to 2008. They then worked as a Freelance video editor from 2009 to 2011, managing media content and creating videos for companies like Wells Fargo and Zoosk.com.

In 2011, Charvy worked as a Videographer for Royster Production, where they set up HD cameras and recorders, shot live seminars and b-roll, and collaborated with directors to capture the best shots.

From 2008 to 2014, Charvy worked at KTSF as a Master Control Operations assistant, responsible for ingesting program content, playing video packages, and ensuring the smooth recording of news and television shows.

At MLB Advanced Media, L.P., Charvy served as a Media Operations Assistant from 2014 to 2016. They were responsible for quality checking video content, cleaning up video content for VOD, and reporting and escalating any errors with the live video stream and application functionality.

From 2016 to 2018, Charvy worked as a Senior Media Operations Coordinator at BAMTECH Media, overseeing the daily duties of Media Ops assistants, monitoring scheduled maintenances, and making adjustments during live major television events.

At Sony, Charvy held the role of Vue TOC Operation Specialist from 2018 to 2021. They proactively monitored the PS Vue system, performed dynamic ad insertion monitoring using Google Ad Manager, and ensured the smooth monitoring of high-priority events and programming.

Currently, Charvy is working as a Senior Support Engineer at Wurl since 2021. They are the first line of technical support for Video Producers and Video Services on the Wurl Network, resolving technical issues regarding the Wurl Scheduler and streaming services, striving to meet the company's SLAs, and supporting customer success through collaboration with the Customer Operations and Sales teams.

Charvy Ourm attended San Francisco State University from 2008 to 2009 where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology. Prior to that, they studied Computer Science at Whittier College from 2004 to 2006.
