Ananya Arora

Ananya Arora is a dedicated student at the University of Waterloo, pursuing an Honours Arts degree in Psychology. Ananya's experience includes roles such as Peer Support Volunteer for the Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association, providing assistance to peers facing social and academic challenges, and serving as VP Communications for the SMF Society, managing records and social media. Ananya has also worked as a Marketing Executive for WUSA Thrift, focusing on sustainability initiatives, and completed internships at MindTribe.in and MyCaptain, gaining insights into therapy methodologies and psychological assessments. Further involvement includes contributions as a Counter Speech Fellow at Instagram, a member of the Psychology Club at Lotus Valley International School, and leadership roles in organizations like Girl Up and Global Volunteers Action Network, emphasizing fundraising and social impact. As the founder of Vanita, Ananya initiated a fundraiser to support menstrual health education for underprivileged women.
