Tim Burns

Tim Burns has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Tim currently works at WuXi Advanced Therapies as a Manager/Scientist. Before this role, they held positions as a Scientist/Study Director and Associate Scientist/Study Director at the same company. Prior to joining WuXi, they worked as a Senior Lab Technician at the company from 2016-2018.

Before joining WuXi, Tim worked as a Biologist at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories from 2015-2016. Tim also briefly worked as an Analytical Chemist at LZ Therapeutics, Inc. in 2015.

Tim's career began at Coastal Carolina University, where they worked as a Research Assistant from 2011-2013. Tim Burns earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marine Science and Biology from Coastal Carolina University, starting in 2004 and completing their studies in 2008. Tim then pursued further education and obtained a Master's Degree in Coastal Marine and Wetland Studies from the same university, studying from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their degrees, Tim Burns also obtained a 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification from OSHA in April 2014.
