Marie Mutsuki Mockett

Marie Mutsuki Mockett is a distinguished writer and author with notable works published through W. W. Norton & Company, Inc. and Graywolf Press. Mockett's work "Where the Dead Pause, and the Japanese Say Goodbye" received critical acclaim as a finalist for the PEN Open Book Award and was recognized as a New York Times Editors Choice, among other accolades. The novel "Picking Bones from Ash" also gained recognition, being a finalist for the Paterson Prize and the Saroyan Prize for International Writing.
