Thomas Lievens

Thomas Lievens is an experienced engineer specializing in fiber optic and network infrastructure. Currently, at Wyre since July 2023, Thomas leads Fiberbuild B2B Connectivity Projects. Previously, from April 2012 to July 2023, Thomas served as a Technical Support Engineer at Telenet, focusing on renewing the HFC network and expanding the fiber optic backbone. Experience includes roles at OnePhone Belgium, where responsibilities included indoor radio network planning, and Mobistar Enterprise Services, where Thomas managed field engineering teams. Additional expertise stems from positions at KPN Belgium Business and Versatel, handling installation and maintenance of core network sites and equipment. Thomas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics from BME-Gent and additional qualifications in control and surveillance techniques and electricity.
