Manuela Nieto García has a comprehensive work experience in the renewable energy sector. Manuela started their career as an intern in the Renewable Energy Department at Instituto Nacional de Tecnica Aeroespacial (INTA) in 2007. Manuela then worked as a Project Engineer at Besel in 2007 and subsequently joined MTBren as an Energy Project Manager in 2008. Manuela then joined X-ELIO, a leading company dedicated to the development and operation of photovoltaic plants. Manuela held various roles within X-ELIO, starting as a Project Engineer in 2009, then progressing to a Senior Project Engineer in 2013, and eventually becoming the Head of Global Engineering in 2017. In their role as Head of Global Engineering, Manuela was responsible for managing, coordinating, and standardizing processes of the Engineering team, as well as supporting the technical aspects of business development and project execution.
Manuela Nieto García completed their EMBA from Esade in 2021. Before that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Planning, Management, and Evaluation of Development Cooperation Interventions from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. Manuela also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry Science from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, with a specialization in Medio ambiente y naturaleza. Additionally, they obtained a Master's Degree in Renewable Energy Sources, Fuel Cells, and Hydrogen from Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo. Manuela also has a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, focusing on Química aplicada a la ingeniería.
