Nicholas Pentreath

Nicholas Pentreath has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Nicholas is currently the Chief Financial Officer at X-ELIO, where they assumed the role in March 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Investment Office & Corporate Controlling at X-ELIO from November 2019 to March 2022. From June 2016 to November 2019, they were the Head of Corporate Controlling at the same company.

Before joining X-ELIO, Nicholas worked at PwC for a significant period. Nicholas held the position of Transactions Services Director from May 2006 to July 2016. In this role, they led multiple teams and managed various financial due diligence projects for both domestic and cross-border transactions. Nicholas also participated in market and commercial due diligence projects and was involved in an important bid-defence project in the Spanish market. Prior to this, Nicholas worked as an Auditor in the Technology, Information & Communications, and Entertainment industry from October 2003 to May 2006.

Earlier in their career, Nicholas worked as an Intern at Compugraf from July 2001 to September 2001. Nicholas'sresponsibilities included conducting customer surveys and documenting findings.

Nicholas also gained research experience as a Researcher at Gesport S.A from July 2000 to August 2000.

Nicholas Pentreath completed their Master's degree in Energy Business from the Enerclub - Spanish Energy Institute in 2016. Prior to that, in 2010, they pursued a program in Private Equity and Structured Finance from IE Business School. In 2002, Nicholas earned a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Lancaster University. Additionally, they obtained an International Baccalaureate Bilingual Diploma from St. Paul's British School.
