Amanda Rampertab

Amanda Rampertab has a diverse work experience in hardware engineering and systems design. Amanda currently works at X, the moonshot factory as a Senior Hardware Engineer. Amanda has been in this role since October 2022 and previously held the position of Hardware Engineer from July 2019 to September 2022 at the same company.

Prior to their current position, Amanda has worked at Apple as a Hardware Systems Integration/Embedded Systems Engineer in the Special Projects Group from June 2018 to August 2018 and from September 2017 to January 2018.

Amanda also has experience as a Hardware and Systems Design Engineer at ON Semiconductor from January 2017 to April 2017.

Additionally, Amanda has worked as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Altaeros Energies in 2016.

Amanda has also held various roles in community outreach and engineering as the Community Outreach Director at FRC Team 3161 from September 2010 to June 2014, and as the Lead Hardware Engineer at VRC Team 5225A from September 2011 to April 2014.

Amanda also gained experience as an Automation Engineer at Camcor Manufacturing from January 2015 to April 2015, and as a Systems Engineer at General Dynamics Mission Systems - Canada from September 2015 to December 2015.

Furthermore, they had a temporary role as an Interning Instructor at Science Explorations Camp in July and August 2013.

Amanda Rampertab graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 2019. In 2018, they also participated in an academic exchange program at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, earning another Bachelor's degree. Prior to these experiences, in 2013, they attended Carleton University for the Shad Valley International Summer Program, focusing on Entrepreneurship, Science, Engineering, and Mathematics.
