David Andre

David Andre has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. David is currently serving as the Chief Science Officer at X, the moonshot factory since February 2020. Prior to this, they were the Chief Scientist, CTO, and Founder at Cerebellum Capital, LLC from January 2019 to February 2021. David also co-founded Cerebellum Capital, Inc in 2008 and held the roles of CEO and CTO until February 2020.

Additionally, David has worked as a founding partner at Shinteki since 1998, serving as an advisor to the company. David also acted as an advisor at Incredible Labs from 2012 to 2014.

Furthermore, David has held research and engineering roles at companies like Gravity, BodyMedia, Inc., Blue Pumpkin Software, and UC Berkeley. At BodyMedia, Inc., David served as Director of Informatics and Director of Research before becoming a research advisor until the company was acquired in 2013. David's earliest work experience dates back to 1994 as a Research Scientist at Third Millennium.

David Andre earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley from 1996 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a BS degree in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University, which they attended from 1990 to 1994. David Andre completed their high school education at Ames High School from 1986 to 1990. In 1997, they briefly attended Carnegie Mellon University, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown.
