Travis Lantz

Travis Lantz has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Travis began their career as an Electrical Engineer at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in 2005 and worked there for four years. In 2009, they joined Sierra Photonics, Inc. as a Photonics Engineer and worked there for six years. In 2015, Travis joined Google as a Hardware Engineer specializing in Optoelectronics and Photonics. Most recently, they have been working as a Senior Hardware Engineer at X, the moonshot factory, since 2017.

Travis Lantz completed their secondary education at Davis Senior High School from 1996 to 1999. Following that, they attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1999 to 2005, where they obtained both their Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering.
