In 2021, they became Senior Strategic Advisor of OM Pharma. In 2019, they became Founding Director of the Board of Directors of X-Vax Technology, Inc. and Founding Director of the Board of Directors of VerImmune. In 2019, they became Founding Chairman of the Board of Directors of Silicon Therapeutics, a privately held biotechnology company that was acquired by Roivant Inc. in 2021 for an upfront of $500M plus Milestones. In 2016, they became Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board of Aridis Pharmaceuticals.
Roger J. Pomerantz, MD, FACP has a long and distinguished education history. Roger J. obtained a BA in Biochemistry from The Johns Hopkins University in 1975-1978. Roger J. then went on to obtain their MD from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1979-1982. Roger J. was an Intern, Junior and Senior Resident in Medicine and Fellow in Infectious Diseases and Virology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School from 1982-1987. Roger J. was an Instructor in Medicine and Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School from 1985-1990. Roger J. then completed a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Molecular Virology at the Whitehead Institute of Biomedical Research of MIT from 1988-1990. Roger J. was a Chief Resident at Harvard Medical School - Massachusetts General Hospital from 1987-1988. Roger J. obtained their Medical License from the State of Pennsylvania in 1990 and their Board of Internal Medicine certification in 1985. Roger J. obtained their Infectious Diseases certification from the Infectious Diseases Society of America in 1995.
