Sebastian Grote has worked in various roles within the media industry since 2000. From 2000 to 2010, they worked as a Journalist for FUNKE, where they were responsible for national and international news coverage, feature writing, photography, and TV production. From 2010 to 2017, they worked at Motor Presse Stuttgart as an Editor, and at Prime Creative Media - Industrial Titles as a Founding Editor, Managing Editor, and Editor. During this time, they were responsible for strategic product development and brand management to grow readership and advertising sales. In 2013, they took on the role of Program Director for the Global Heavy Vehicle Leaders Summit, where they were responsible for concept development, program co-ordination, speaker management, marketing, and PR. In 2017, they founded GROTE International, a boutique media consultancy and content agency focusing on growing small- and medium-sized businesses in commercial road transport and the automotive industry. Sebastian also worked at X-ZELL as Managing Director, Head of Strategy, and Head of Marketing.
Sebastian Grote obtained their Master's degree (Dipl.) in Journalism from TU Dortmund University between 2004 and 2010. In 2009, they also obtained a Diplom in Journalism from Stockholm University.
