Andy Atkinson

Andy Atkinson has had a long and varied career in engineering. Andy began their career in 1990 as an Assistant Scientific Officer at the Admiralty Research Establishment (UK MoD). Andy then moved to the Defence Research Agency in 1994, where they worked as a Scientific Officer and Higher Scientific Officer. In 1997 they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at QinetiQ. In 2004, they joined Hydrix as a Company Director / Director of Engineering, Program Manager, Development Team Leader, and Senior Software Engineer. In 2018, they were promoted to General Manager (Consumer and Industrial) at Hydrix. In 2020, they became the Head of Engineering at Tekt Industries and Principal at Adjutus Consulting. Andy is currently the Vice President of Engineering at Xailient Inc.

Andy Atkinson attended Bournemouth University from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computing.
