Juan Miguel Arrazola

Juan Miguel Arrazola has a strong background in the field of quantum computing and theoretical physics. Juan Miguel started their career at the University of Toronto as a research assistant at the Masters level from September 2010 to August 2011. Juan Miguel then joined the Centre for Quantum Technologies as a research fellow from January 2016 to September 2017. After that, they worked at the Institute for Quantum Computing - University of Waterloo as a research assistant at the Doctorate level from an unknown start date to September 2022. Juan Miguel Arrazola's most recent role was at Xanadu, where they held the position of Head of Algorithms since January 2021. Juan Miguel also previously worked as a theoretical physicist at Xanadu from September 2017 to September 2022.

Juan Miguel Arrazola completed their Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Universidad de Los Andes between 2006 and 2009. Juan Miguel then pursued a Master's Degree in Physics at the University of Toronto from 2010 to 2011. Afterwards, they attended the Institute for Quantum Computing, University of Waterloo, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics with a specialization in Quantum Information from 2011 to 2015.
