Paul Finlay

Paul Finlay is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in software engineering, machine learning, and data science. Currently serving as the Software Engineering Lead, Machine Learning Lead, and Quantum Ambassador at Xanadu, Paul has previously held positions including Director and Senior Data Scientist at RBC, as well as Data Scientist. Academic contributions include serving as an FWO Postdoctoral Fellow at Research Foundation Flanders and a Junior Visiting Postdoctoral Fellow at CERN. Paul's early academic career involved roles as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant (PhD Candidate) and Graduate Research Assistant (MSc Candidate) within the Guelph Nuclear Physics Group.
