Dan Pitt is a seasoned strategic advisor with extensive experience across various tech-focused organizations. Currently serving as a strategic advisor at xBlock and X-Celeprint, Dan is instrumental in developing innovative solutions within customer-facing roles and semiconductor technologies, respectively. Concurrently, Dan holds advisory positions at Join Digital and GigaIO, focusing on cloud-managed services and data center infrastructure. As President of Palo Alto Innovation Advisors, Dan provides executive guidance to startups, while also contributing as an Executive in Residence at Plug and Play Tech Center. Dan's past leadership roles include Senior VP at MEF Forum, Executive Director at Open Networking Foundation, and Dean of Engineering at Santa Clara University. Dan holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Computer Science, and has actively participated in promoting women in technology through the Anita Borg Technical Leadership Award selection committee.
