Sandra Johnson

Sandra Johnson is an accomplished leader in the energy sector, currently serving as the Vice President of Transmission at Xcel Energy since July 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing transmission grid operations, construction, maintenance, and project execution. Previously, Sandra held roles such as Director of Transmission Strategic Initiatives and Wildfire Mitigation Project Director, focusing on developing wildfire mitigation programs. Additionally, Sandra was the Chapter Director for ChickTech from October 2017 to September 2023, promoting technology-centric initiatives to empower women and girls in the tech industry. Educational qualifications include both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University.
