Alex Munro

Alex Munro has over 30 years of experience in the technology and business sectors. Alex started their career in 1984 with IBM United Kingdom Ltd, where they worked as an Accountant before advancing to positions in Procurement and other management and senior management roles in Manufacturing, Production Control, and New Products Introduction. In 1998, they joined the executive team at IBM's Greenock site as EMEA Options & Visuals Brand Manager, managing a $1.2BN business with 500 staff across 5 sites in Europe. In 2003, they left IBM to become the SVP Global Business Development at Xchange Technology Group (XTG). In 2005, they moved to IT Xchange Ltd, where they served as the Managing Director EMEA until present.

Alex Munro attended Anniesland College / Glasgow College of Commerce from 1966 to 1969, where they obtained a HND in Business Studies and Accounting with a focus on Accounting.
