Currently, they are the Director of Technology at Xcitex, where they lead C++ software development and IT system administration. Eric also implemented a cloud and PC-based software licensing system using Azure and provides guidance to staff regarding website design and hardware and software testing.

From 2012 to 2019, Eric worked at Bruker BioSpin, first as an Applications Engineer, where they performed root cause analysis and testing of imaging systems, and advised customers on imaging projects and data analysis. Then they became an Application Scientist, providing technical sales support, training team members and customers on MRI and PET/MRI software and hardware, and creating application notes and marketing materials.

Prior to their time at Bruker BioSpin, Eric was a Research Assistant at Harvard Medical School from 2007 to 2011. In this role, they developed Digital Signal Processing algorithms using MATLAB, C/C++, and LabVIEW, optimizing data acquisition and reducing scan times. Eric also worked with Siemens, Bruker, and homemade scanners.

From 2006 to 2011, Eric served as an R&D Engineer at Mirtech Inc., where they assembled and developed a portable low field NMR device and created LabVIEW software for instrument control and data acquisition. Eric also worked as a Clinical Research Assistant at BU Medical Center from 2005 to 2007, conducting clinical research using MRI scanners and maintaining a study database.

Earlier in their career, Eric worked as a Physics and Chemistry teacher at Melrose High School, teaching classes and tutoring students for the AP Physics exam. Eric also worked as a Waiter at Bellevue Country Club, where they waited tables and served Tommy Heinsohn breakfast.

During their time at Clark University from 2000 to 2003, Eric worked as a Research Assistant, performing high-speed CCD imaging and tracking, developing image analysis software, and conducting research on self-assembling and nonlinear flow systems.
