Emma Steele

Emma Steele started their work experience as a Receptionist at Walkers Opticians from June 2007 to September 2008. Emma then worked at Bravissimo as a Fitting Consultant from April 2010 to June 2013. From July 2013 to November 2015, Emma worked at Tesco in the role of Product Development, Quality and Technical - Healthcare. Emma then moved on to become a Product Research Manager at Tesco from November 2015 to November 2016. Emma then served as a Product Manager at Tesco from November 2016 to December 2020, during which they were responsible for the full product lifecycle and the development of product quality and compliance applications. Emma later became a Lead Product Manager at Tesco from December 2020 to August 2022, leading a team of product managers and working closely with various departments. Currently, Emma is employed at xDesign, where they hold the position of Lead Product Manager since September 2022 and will be transitioning to the role of Product Principal in September 2023.

Emma Steele graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 2012. Prior to that, they completed their A Levels in Chemistry, Maths, and Physics at the Royal Grammar School in Newcastle Upon Tyne from 2006 to 2008. Emma also holds a certification in Lean Six Sigma - Yellow Belt from QA, obtained in 2017.
