Gabriela Schatz

Gabriela Schatz has several years of experience in various roles within the technology industry. Gabriela started their career as a Software Developer at Active Knowledge in 2001 and worked there for a year. In 2004, they joined Wirecard Technologies AG as a Software Quality Engineer and later became a Project Manager in 2010. Gabriela worked in this company until 2013 when they transitioned to Wirecard Technologies GmbH as a Programme Manager. From 2014 to 2018, they served as the Head of Project Management Office and then became the Vice President of Payment Services Providing until 2020. In 2021, they joined Serrala as the Vice President of Solution Design and worked until 2022. Currently, Gabriela Schatz is employed at XEMPUS, where they hold the position of Vice President of Engineering since April 2023.

Gabriela Schatz has a strong educational background in both Cybernetics and Physics. Gabriela earned a Diplom Informatikerin degree with a focus on Cybernetics from the University of Economic Studies Bucharest - Economic Cybernetics Statistics and Informatics, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Prior to that, they pursued a Diplom Physikerin degree in Physics at the University of Bucharest from 1987 to 1992.

In addition to their formal education, Gabriela has also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Gabriela earned the SAFe 5 Program Consultant certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2021. In 2017, they obtained the SAFE 4 Certified Agilist certification from the same institution. Furthermore, Gabriela holds the PMI-ACP certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in February 2016. Gabriela also earned the PMP certification from PMI in April 2013 and the Prince 2 certification from APMG in November 2012.
