Luis Sojo

Luis Sojo is a Senior Principal Scientist at Xenon Pharmaceuticals Inc., specializing in bio-analytical and mass spectrometry services for the ADME group since May 2008. With extensive consulting experience in analytical chemistry, particularly LC-MS applications for the environmental and bio-pharmaceutical industry, Luis serves as a Principal at Pacific Scientific Consulting from February 2003 to the present. Additionally, Luis is an Adjunct Faculty member at Simon Fraser University, where Environmental Chemistry is taught, and graduate students are advised in collaboration with Professor George Agnes. Previous roles include Associate Director of Analytical Development at QLT Inc., Director of Research and Development at ABR-Cantest, and Senior Research Scientist positions at ASL Laboratories and Axy Analytical Services. Luis holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Concordia University and has completed post-doctoral work in hyphenated chromatography and the kinetic speciation of metal ions.
