John Balas

John Balas, CPA, is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in both accounting and tax roles. Currently serving as Accounting Manager at Xeris Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since August 2022, John previously held the position of Senior Accountant at HH Global from August 2021 to August 2022. Prior to that, John worked at BDO USA, LLP, where roles included Senior Tax Associate and Tax Associate from July 2018 to June 2021, as well as a Tax Intern from January 2016 to August 2017. John's early experience includes an internship in Investigative Accounting at Meaden & Moore from May 2014 to August 2015. Educationally, John earned a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
