Darren Kidd

Darren Kidd is a highly experienced software engineering professional with extensive roles in various organizations, currently serving as Lead Engineer at Xero since August 2017. Past positions include Development Team Lead, Acting Development Team Lead, and Senior Engineer across different capacities. Prior to Xero, Darren worked at the Australian Electoral Commission from 2004 to 2023, fulfilling multiple election-day roles, and held positions at Chevron, iiNet, the Western Australian Electoral Commission, Communicare Systems Pty Ltd, Egton, and CSIRO. Educational qualifications include a BEng (Hons) in Software Engineering from Curtin University and a Graduate Diploma in Divinity from Vose College of Higher Education.
