Sarfaraz Alam

Sarfaraz Alam has been working in the software industry since 2014. In 2014, they worked as a Technical Support at Sitel. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Softcrylic as a Test Automation Engineer and Test Engineer. During this time, they created and enhanced numerous test scripts to handle changes in the objects, in the tested application's GUI and in the testing environment using Selenium and WebdriverIO (JavaScript). Sarfaraz also conducted tests to check software at different stages of development and deployment. Since 2020, they have been working at Capgemini as a Senior Consultant. Here, they have created and enhanced numerous test scripts to handle changes in the objects, in the tested application's GUI and in the testing environment using Selenium and Puppeteer (JavaScript). Sarfaraz is currently working at Xforia Technology Solutions and Services as a Senior Test Engineer. Here, they are designing test plans, scripts and procedures to maximize team efficiency and catch all software flaws. Sarfaraz is also debugging code by review and analyses, configuration files and individual code pieces to locate the sources of problems.

Sarfaraz Alam attended Doveton Group of Schools from 2009 to 2010, where they earned their HSC in Mathematics and Computer Science. Sarfaraz then went on to St Peter's University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Information Technology.
