João Órfão

João Órfão has a diverse work experience in software development and consulting. João is currently working at xgeeks as an Android Developer. Prior to this, they worked at WIT Software as a Software Engineer for three years. João had a consultancy role at agap2IT Portugal for three years as well. João also has experience as a Mobile Developer, working on various projects at TIMWE Group, Gravity | Creative Dynamics, and Global Media Group. In addition, they have worked as a Developer in different roles at Inosat, Together - Estamos Juntos, and VTXRM - Software Factory. João started their career as an Investigator at VisualYzart, where they explored technology applications in education.

João Órfão's education history begins with their attendance at Escola Secundária Francisco Rodrigues Lobo from 2006 to 2009, where they completed their 12º ano studies in the field of Curso Ciências e Tecnologias. Following this, they pursued a Licenciatura degree in Engenharia Informática at Polytechnic of Leiria from 2012 to 2014.

In addition to their academic qualifications, João has obtained certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge. In June 2021, they completed the course "Working Remotely: How To Succeed In The New Workplace" at Udemy. João achieved a certification as a Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in October 2020.
