In Vivo Pharmacology Research Associate at Xilio Therapeutics

Haley D. has a diverse work experience in the veterinary field. Haley began their career as a Veterinary Assistant at Banfield Pet Hospital in 2013, where they also worked as a receptionist. During their time there, Haley performed various in-house diagnostic procedures and assisted with the administration of vaccinations and medications.

In 2015, Haley became a Certified Veterinary Technician at Weston Veterinary Clinic, where they continued to work as a receptionist. Their responsibilities included analyzing laboratory samples, obtaining patient medical history, and administering vaccinations and medications under veterinary supervision.

Haley then joined Biomodels, LLC in 2019 as a Research Associate I. Haley specialized in collecting blood samples from rodents using the retro-orbital technique and assisted with end-of-life collections through necropsy. Haley also participated in radiation procedures for rodents.

From 2020 to 2022, Haley worked as a Certified Veterinary Technician at BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital. Haley gained experience in surgical procedures, including orthopedic and emergency surgeries. Haley also played a role in anesthesia monitoring and intubation.
