James Hatherly

James Hatherly is an accomplished events professional with extensive experience in project management and event production. Currently serving as the Head of Projects and Planning at XL Event Lab since May 2023, James has previously held significant roles, including Senior Event Production Manager at St Hugh's College, Oxford, for a decade, and Owner of HDE Events, where event organization encompassed weddings, nightclub events, and conferences. Additional experience includes event operations at Deer Park Hall and event management at the University of Gloucestershire Student Union. James began the career as a Production Technician at white space productions ltd, specializing in stage set design for worldwide events. James holds a Bachelor of Arts in Events Management from the University of Gloucestershire.
